Terms of Service & End User License Agreement
These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") govern your use of Custom Reporter (the "App"), provided by Product Matter ("we," "us," or "our"). By connecting your QuickBooks Online company or otherwise using the App, you agree to this Agreement.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App to access and report on your own QuickBooks Online data, subject to this Agreement. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Read-only access
The App requests read-only Accounting access to QuickBooks Online. It does not create, modify, or delete data in your QuickBooks company. You are responsible for the accuracy of the underlying data in your books.
3. Acceptable use
- Connect only QuickBooks companies you are authorized to access.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App.
- Do not use the App in violation of any applicable law or Intuit's terms.
4. Your data
As between you and us, you own your QuickBooks data. Our handling of that data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement.
5. Reports are informational
Reports produced by the App are provided for informational purposes and are derived from the data available through Intuit's API at the time of each request. They do not constitute accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Verify figures against your books of record before relying on them.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will be complete or accurate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Product Matter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amounts you paid us, if any, for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App and disconnect at any time from within QuickBooks (Settings → Apps → My Apps → Disconnect). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this Agreement. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
9. Changes
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
10. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
