Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Product Matter ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Custom Reporter (the "App"), a read-only integration with QuickBooks Online. By connecting your QuickBooks Online company to the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we access

When you authorize the App, Intuit grants us read-only access to your QuickBooks Online accounting data. We read only what is needed to produce your reports, which may include:

• Invoices, estimates, and bills, including line items and custom fields
• Vendor and customer references associated with those transactions
• Account balances, accounts receivable and payable aging, and sales tax payable

We also store the OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens and the company identifier (Realm ID) needed to maintain your connection. We do not receive or store your QuickBooks or Intuit login credentials — authentication happens entirely on Intuit's systems.

What we do not do

• We never write to, modify, or delete any data in your QuickBooks company.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
• We do not use your financial data for advertising or share it for marketing.

How we use information

We use the data we read solely to generate and deliver the reports you request — Cash Flow Status and Job Profitability — and to operate, maintain, and support the App.

How we store and protect it

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to call Intuit's API on your behalf. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). We restrict access to the minimum personnel necessary to operate and support the App.

Data retention and deletion

When you disconnect the App — from within QuickBooks (Settings → Apps → My Apps → Disconnect) or by contacting us — we revoke and delete the stored access tokens for your connection and stop reading your data. You may request deletion of any retained report output at any time by emailing us.

Third parties

The App connects to Intuit's QuickBooks Online platform. Your use of QuickBooks is governed by Intuit's own terms and privacy policy. We share data with service providers only as necessary to operate the App, under confidentiality obligations.

Your choices

You control the connection. You can disconnect at any time to immediately stop further data access. To request access to, or deletion of, information we hold about you, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
